Scribbled Triangles, monotype print available in my Etsy Shop

New Work in my Etsy Shop
Saturday, May 7, 2016 - 12:15

I’ve added a series of 5 monotypes to my Etsy Shop. I was inspired by two things: the current MoMA exhibit on Degas and his monotypes, and a recent workshop at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

Juror’s Award in Creative Tension 2015 Exhibition
Tuesday, October 6, 2015 - 16:22

Three of my new constructed collage pieces were juried into Creative Tension 2015, an exhibition at Perkins Center for the Arts. The juror was Kirsten M. Jensen, PhD, Senior Curator of Exhibitions at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA. She selected all three of my entries, and gave a Juror’s Award to Bounty’s Glow. She also accepted Gray Frame / Foggy Sky, and Yellow Lights / Pink Sky.  I have been entering this show for several years. I started getting accepted about 5 years ago. I’m very honored and excited to receive  my first award in this show.

The exhibition will be on view through December 6 at Perkins Center for the Arts, 395 Kings Highway (Main St.), Moorestown, NJ 08057.
